The website of marktometer e.U. serves exclusively to provide information about our services in the fields of management consultancy, market research, and opinion polling. Personal data is generally processed only to the extent necessary for the following purposes:

  • Technical provision: To ensure a secure and functional website, we process IP addresses, date and time of access, and browser type. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR).
  • Contact requests: Upon voluntary contact (by email or phone), we process your name, email address, and phone number in order to handle your enquiry and prepare a potential contract. The legal basis is either Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract) or Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

No automated decision-making, profiling, or transfer of data for marketing or tracking purposes takes place.

The website is hosted within the EU/EEA. Server log files (IP address, time, browser type) are processed on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR to ensure secure operations and are deleted on a regular basis.

7. Processing in Market and Customer Research Projects

No personal data for research purposes is collected via this website. Any data processed within research projects is handled separately from the website and is subject to anonymisation or pseudonymisation. Partner collaborations (e.g. DriasIQ, OpinionX, Talk Online Panel) are conducted exclusively under Art. 28 GDPR (Data Processing Agreements) or Art. 26 GDPR (Joint Controllership).

8. Cloud and IT Services

We use Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.) and Google Drive (Google Ireland Ltd.) for internal administration. Data transfers to countries outside the EU/EEA are based on Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 Para. 2 lit. c GDPR, supplemented by technical measures such as encryption.

9. Storage Duration

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the specific purpose for which it was collected, or as required by statutory retention obligations. Once the purpose has been fulfilled or the applicable deadline has passed, data is deleted or anonymised.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Requests should be directed to the contact address above.
